This Privacy Policy describes how AirTraffic flight tracker iOS mobile app handles user data and privacy. We are committed to ensuring transparency regarding the information processed within our app.

2. Data Collection & User Privacy

• GPS Location Usage: The app requests access to the user’s GPS location solely to center the map on the user's current position. Users can grant permission only while the app is active. If the user denies location access, the automatic centering feature will be disabled, but all other features of the app will remain fully functional.
• Log data may include information such as your devices's Internet Protocol address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app. Log data are collected only in case of errors.
• Personal Data are collected only for Advertising purpose. Device identifier and usage data are collected directly by Google AdMob platform. And are used only to present personalized ads. This happens only after user consent is collected for users in Europe. Complying to EU General Data Protection Regulation. User can revoke consent at any time using corresponding button in Settings.
• No Subscriptions, No In-App Purchases: Air Traffic does not include subscriptions or any in-app paid features.

3. Flight Data Sources & Attribution

The flight and aircraft data displayed in the app are sourced from our intermediate server. This server retrieves data from partner public APIs : FlightAware, Aviation Edge. Data are cached to provide nearly real time flight information.

4. Image & Icon Attribution

• Icons: All plane icons used in the app are created by our team. We use Inkscape to author .svg files.
• Illustrative aircraft images: The aircraft model images displayed in the app are AI-generated using DALL·E 3. A mention "AI generated" is visible so as not to deceive users. The app does not include any photo.

5. Usage Disclaimer

• Air Traffic is designed for aviation enthusiasts and entertainment purposes. While the app provides informative and nearly real-time aviation data, it is not intended for professional or operational use.
• Users should refer to official aviation sources for professional use cases.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate security measures to ensure safe retrieval of flight information.

Personal data are collected and used only by the ad platform AdMob. As for our servers, we do not have access, collect nor store any personal data. The options selected by the user are only stored locally on the device.
